Aldrin Piri commented on NIFI-4771:
-----------------------------------

Hey [~pepov],

Those sound like good ideas.

In terms of the xemuliam/docker-nifi mention, I believe we at least have the
clustering taken care of via
https://github.com/apache/nifi/commit/d3222b85ab92be19e2f622228ea5f7bc757fc07d.
In terms of the volume support, I am in favor of applying those for any
directories that reasonably seem of importance and host generated data. I
thought we had these for at least each of the repositories, but it appears that
is just in an image I made and not the formal image offering.

The other items, seem good though, would you mind generating some additional
tickets fo these so we can track them.

> With the creation of DockerHub repositories for all major components within
> NiFi, we can consolidate efforts and resources in the nifi-container.
> Currently we have existing Docker work for NiFi, NiFi Toolkit, NiFi MiNiFI
> Java & C++.
> These should be transitioned to the container repo and established with
> Docker Hub for the associated convenience binaries.
