Peter Wilcsinszky commented on NIFI-4771:
-----------------------------------------
Hey [~aldrin] clustering looks great!
Unfortunately default volume declarations are missing, but at least that's an
easy thing to add, which I think we can do in the legacy Dockerfile as well, so
creating a ticket for that right now.
For the new Dockerfiles located in the nifi-container repo first we will have
to figure out how we can consume the NiFi and toolkit artifacts I suppose,
since we no longer have the luxury of referencing those "in-build". This is a
general question I think, which affects all Dockerfiles in nifi-container so we
may continue discussing it here. Once we have a consensus I can create issues
that we can start working on.
Also what I would consider after we have the idea on how we consume artifacts,
is producing a nightly build (from master), thus making it easier to live on
the edge for power users and developers.
> Consolidate Docker resources into nifi-container

> With the creation of DockerHub repositories for all major components within
> NiFi, we can consolidate efforts and resources in the nifi-container.
> Currently we have existing Docker work for NiFi, NiFi Toolkit, NiFi MiNiFI
> Java & C++.
> These should be transitioned to the container repo and established with
> Docker Hub for the associated convenience binaries.
