I just published a [blog 
post|https://funnifi.blogspot.com/2019/04/record-processing-with.html] with the 
skeleton for a record-based InvokeScriptedProcessor in Groovy, resolving this 
case for now (but it can be reopened for related use cases or further 
discussion)
