This proposal comes from a [StackOverflow
post|(https://stackoverflow.com/questions/58439232/generate-uuid5-in-nifi] to
add the capability of generating a namespace-based UUID v5 value. There is a
reference implementation
[here|https://stackoverflow.com/questions/40230276/how-to-make-a-type-5-uuid-in-java]
but of course caution should be used (with respect to licensing) before
incorporating any existing code.
