That's correct, the results are strictly 0 < r < 1.

I made a version, also adjusting to your latest changes.  This version will
generate sets of results for analysis and inspection.

If you just run it, it makes 1000.  What's more fun is 

  >newrand 10000000 | sort | more

Note that the individual IX, IY, and IZ will have begun to recycling several
times, but not in synchronization.  Sorting on one of those columns could be
even more interesting.
