            Bug ID: 121742
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: unwanted tables and uneditable white space when
copying and pasting from body of email to document
    Classification: Application
           Product: word processor
           Version: AOO 3.4.1
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Windows Vista
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: P3
         Component: open-import
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]

this is a new problem, within the past two weeks, not previously an issue. i
have used gmail and Open Office text documents satisfactorily in this way many
times in the past. now however, when i copy text and try to paste it into a
document there are three big problems:

1) the highlighted text does not all copy and i have to do separate sections of
text to get the whole amount desired

2) highlighted text copies into the document with 'frames' around it that i
can't get rid of

3) large amounts of unwanted white space come with the copied and pasted text
and i cannot get rid of the white space

i researched some other topics, other bug issues, that sounded as if they might
be related but did not find this particular issue. i am attaching a document
that resulted from trying to use this sequence of tasks --highlight in email,
copy, paste to document -- copy more text, repeat-- so you can see the useless
document produced.
