Do you update or change your browser in the same tima? Apache OpenOffice get what is in the clipboard. This can be formated or unformated text. Same browsers copy the formatings too. It sounds like your browser cope the text AND sam formats, and Apache OpenOffice takes over the formats too, but you want only the text. If this it's the case, it's not a bug, because it's expected that Apache OpenOffice copy the format too.
