--- Comment #2 from Becky Chapman <[email protected]> ---
Hello,

I tried to recreate this bug using a OpenOffice.org version 3.3.0. on my PC
with Windows XP. I was unsuccessful.
Steps I took:
1. Created a text box by selecting "Text Box" from the Forms Control toolbar
(Design mode must be ON for this toolbar)
2. To set the properties for that Text box, I double-clicked in the box and
set the border to Flat (default was 3D), the border color to blue (default
was black) and the font to Cambria 12 Italics (default was Arial, Regular 12)
3. I changed the text box to a "Formatted Field" by right-clicking the Text box
and selecting Replace with "Formatted Field".
4. Checking the border and font properties, I found them all unchanged from the
setting of the Text box. The visual was the same as well - flat, blue border.
5. I verified the 3D property by selecting that and watching the visual
presentation change in the word processor successfully.
6. Then I changed more properties back and forth, still, the settings I chose
in the properites dialog boxes held firm, when I switched to and from the
Formatted Field to the Text Box.

Hope this is helpful,
Becky
