Wordpad was a no starter - so I downloaded the Portable version of Abiword. It
opened the ODT and displayed it correctly in it's print dialogue as having a
"custom" size of 8.5" x 5.5" - The Cannon printer driver preview pane also
displayed correctly - so yes the printer is definitely advertising the custom
paper size to other applications. Abiword Portable is available here:
