Gist was: 1) Dr Watson log file contained only an access error to IE which had occurred a day earlier than the OO error I was looking for. How do I persuade Dr W to pay attention to my OO problem? 2) I'm using XP, trying to tidy it before I go back to my Windows 8 upgrade which died after 3 weeks and can only be repeated with a working copy of an earlier Windows in place.
