This is curious language example. I am not sure if we get an agreement on this
by this discussion. Both approaches seem to be used. Since Language is always a
living thing I think it is hard to promote or demote one without having a
better Idea what is going on.

What I can say is that deepl.com. The best Translation system I know translates
"Add a space" into "Ajouter un espace".

Also if you search google for ""Ajouter une espace", you get a lot of examples
which use the masculine form. So while the French academy selects the feminine
form, I can not confirm that the use is one sided.

I have asked the French Academy for a position, out of Interest.

I think we should stick with the masculine form, for now.Thanks for bringing
this up, Ulysse31. Maybe this changes in future thought.
