The summary uses "focus", which is rather ambiguous. A chart is an embedded object. When you select it, the sidebar should display the properties panel for OLE objects. But when you activate the embedded object, via double-click or from the context menu item "Edit", you have another application module: Chart. This module is not based on the old SFX framework, this means, there won't be a sidebar for this application (the same happens with Base and any other module not based in the SFX framework). This bug is INVALID, or request for ENHANCEMENT ("support the sidebar in modules not based in the old, SFX application framework" - an enhancement that will be placed on "AOO later" because it will require a lot of work). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
