I have Java 1.7 JRE enabled on PC, but disabled in AOO. I will do a second test with JRE disabled on PC @Ariel Constenla-Haile: I am doubtful that jimarona's problem is "missing JRE" related. I would have expected as missing JRE problems: a) If reaction on missing JRE is intended: greyed "New" radio button and text b) If no foresighted missing Java detection is active, Crash, Hang, or a message.
