To display the characters properly and to start typing in Tamil, some other
programs need to be installed along with AOO. Currently I installed an IME from
Google, in my windows XP machine, followed the instructions form Google, and I
have solved the problem.
Google supports phonetic typing. For example to type my name in Tamil the key
strokes are
kadal
To use Tamil keyboard, the strokes will be
fly
So a fully instructional webpage is required to guide the users properly.
