--- Comment #3 from Ariel Constenla-Haile <[email protected]> --- (In reply to OOProbs from comment #0) > The mysql-connector-x.x.x-java-bin.jar file is not being recognized. Using > Tools > Options > OpenOffice > Java > Add, and navigating to the folder > where the file exists, it does not recognize that it is there and, thus, > will not allow for a JDBC connection to occur (since it is requesting the > javaruntime environment -- which it doesn't recognize). If there is no JRE selected on Tools - Options - OpenOffice - Java, then the application may not allow you to add the MySQL Connector J. Is there a JRE selected? Note that OpenOffice is a 32 bit application on Windows, it needs a 32 bit JRE. And by the way, did you try the Native connector? (no Java needed), see http://extensions.openoffice.org/en/project/mysql-driver-apache-openoffice https://code.google.com/a/apache-extras.org/p/aoo-my-sdbc/wiki/Downloads -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue.
