Neelam Malik <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #7 from Neelam Malik <[email protected]> --- I have successfully replicated the bug in OpenOffice 4.0.1 running on Windows 8.1. I followed following simpler steps to replicate the issue-> 1)Create a new document in OpenOffice Writer. 2)Type some text in OpenOffice Writer 3)Select this text 4)Go to tool bar and select Format>Character>Position>Rotation 5)Missing 180 degree rotation option under Rotation/Scaling. We can also check if 180 degree option is missing in other environment also. I checked on Mac OSX 10.9.5, and Windows 7 and the option of 180 degree rotation is missing there too. So this option was not provided during development phase itself and hence its clear is not a bug but missing functionality which can be added. This test is important as it will let us know if the issue is missing functionality or a bug caused by specific environment so that specific actions can be taken. I also tried selecting the text from tables to see if the option of 180 degree is still missing. And yes it was missing at that time too. Adding option of 180 degree is important as it becomes really difficult to rotate texts from left to right, specially when one needs to create puzzles and quizzes. And rotating using text objects have many disadvantages like lot of extra work and missing document styles and more. This issue can be considered as an important enhancement. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the issue. You are the assignee for the issue.
