Please see issue https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=124191 This issue happens also only with Mavericks (Mac 10.9) and the 64bit Version since 4.1 I have written a complex "App" for "record keeping" and "Payroll accounting" for my company. (Don't know in english) Without a password-protection it is useless, because the Tax office can reject it, when it did not include some special Criteria, like password-protection and others.
