Well you put the cursor somewhere in the pivot table, right click and choose refresh. When you do that the total time in cell P14 will not show the total hours if they exceed 24. Navigate to cell p14 and choose Format-Cells. It will be set to time but at the top of the list 13:37 which is wrong. Change this and select 876613:37. Press OK and the correct format is then used to show the total hours. However as soon as you refresh the pivot table again, the format setting again will be lost and will revert to 13:37. WHY? This reversion to the basic time setting where any of the total fields in the pivot table exceed 24 hours. Or, in other words the pivot table cannot cope with time exceeding 24 hours anywhere whether in the totals or any field.
