To avoid the risk of funding failure, alternative platforms should be
considered, i.e. those that allow projects to proceed with the money received
during a certain time, without having to meet the original value requested.

Suppose € 1000 is requested, but € 500 received after 30 days. The project plan
should be flexible enough to adjust to the budget received. If the revised plan
completed 1 task instead of 3 tasks in the original, at least the successful
completion of task 1 should be used to give credibility to future programmers
and funders, that progress can be made. Another proposal can be made at a later
date, i.e. an iterative crowdfund process.
