Hello Jerold ! 
Ther is just a stupid troll, do not try to argue with him, it is useless. I've
tried alot, but he has no argument, no discussion. He do not care for this
feature, and still come here year after year to bash all asking for it. Just
let him whine alone. 
We still need outlines, badly. I'm back to Scrivener and Word 2000 (/grin),
just have no use of Writer (but I still use Calc and Base extensively). I would
really like to get back to Writer, as I'm a big open source fan, but it is not
possible for now, I really need this functionnality...
