How can this be "not an issue?"

It is clearly a performance issue with the product.  

That there is a workaround (having the user compress those images themselves
and/or use an extension) does not mean there is no issue.  

PS: How can one "reduce resolution" with no loss of quality.  That is usage-
dependent, is it not?  If PixCompress provides lossless compression, that would
be great.  Will it do that?
