However, bug #2 behaved a little differently than I expected. When I opened the .doc file in MS Word 2016 after following the instructions to produce bug #2, it did print the first page heading on the second page as it is supposed to. Even when I typed a different word on the first line/row of the first page, it changed the word on the first line/row of the second page simultaneously. The strange part happened when pages 3 and 4 displayed inconsistently as shown in the attachments. It should be noted that I inserted a table over two page breaks. When I did exactly what the given instructions for bug #2 says (inserting table over only one-page break), it appears as if the settings are completely gone when opened in MS Word. However, from inserting the table over two page breaks it shows that it does somehow retain the settings. Work-Around Bug #2: After trying different ways to reproduce the bug, I found a way to make the bug go away. The steps are as follows: 1. Open OO writer and insert table with enough rows to be on more than one page. 2. Save the file as a Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.doc) 3. Do not close OO writer, continue by opening the “Table Properties” and select the “Text Flow” tab. 4. Select “Repeat Heading > The first 1 rows” and click OK. 5. Press F11 to open “Styles and Formatting” and select “Page Style” tab and click “First Page” option. 6. Type something on the first line/row of the first page (and the text should appear on the first line/row of the other pages). 7. Save the file again (already has the Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.doc) format) 8. Close OO writer then open the .doc file in MS Word. When you save the file as a Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.doc) format before altering the settings of the table in OO writer then save it again after the settings are made, the settings remain when you open the .doc file in MS Word. Bug #1 is also a duplicate of issue 108929 and issue 108929 is a duplicate of issue 101472. I tried replicating both bugs with OO Writer 4.2.0 (snapshot build) and bug #1 was reproducible while bug #2 seems to be fixed in this version.
