Sometimes misaligned up, sometimes down, sometimes an entire line is squashed or stretched, but those ones are a little more rare than the misaligned text, and only seem to show up with a lot of scrolling and editing. I'd also completely forgotten the odd text "walking" issue when highlighting that you noticed. I'm glad you discovered it.
