Test 1 1. Start OpenOffice 2. Select "Text Document" to open Writer 3. Type multiple sentences on the page. Example sentence: "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog." 4. Set font of entire paragraph to size 13 Times New Roman 5. Set entire paragraph to "Align Justified" format 6. Select and italicize a word located in the middle of the page 7. Notice the spacing between the words preceding the italicized word change. 8. Notice the space between the italicized word and the word preceding it is very small in comparison to the other spaces on the page. Test 2 1. Start OpenOffice 2. Select "Text Document" to open Writer 3. Type multiple sentences on the page. Example sentence: "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog." 4. Keep font at default size 12 Times New Roman 5. Set entire paragraph to "Align Justified" format 6. Select the entire paragraph, and italicize it 7. Select one word located in the middle of the page and un-italicize it 8.
