It shows an example of the bug and the workaround I found

Hi there.

Due to my work, I have to use several special characters which I believe are
not part of regular Unicode charts. I'm talking about things like these:

✓ (U+2713)
✗ (U+2717)
Ⓒ (U+24B8)
Ⓢ (U+24C8)

Sometimes, when writing and underlining in OpenOffice Writer, it somehow
becomes crazy and underlines more text than it should, but I can't change it
unless I erase those characters in that line.

In order to explain myself better, I have uploaded an .odt file — That way, you
could see what I am saying.

Currently, the workaround I use is typing a zero-width space (U+200B) before
the special character. Somehow it solves the problem, but it should be fixed.

Thanks a lot for your time ;)
