Hi @adoroszlai, this PR is concerned with the case where you rebuild the
DatanodeDetails object based on the information saved prior in a file. When we
deserialize the contents of the file into DatanodeDetails, the IP address could
have changed and the persisted IP address may no longer be valid (ex. the
datanode may have been re-started on a new machine). So that is the reason for
validating the IP address when we read the file.
I agree there is no need to validate the IP address if we are building
DatanodeDetails object without any serialization/deserialization.
