This can happen only when first stripe failed. It is ok when non first stripe
failed right.
I agree, in general we need to bring the retry logic though. However this
problem will not be fixed with that fully.
Let's stripe failure is real(due to a node down), then this problem will come.
We need some generic solution for cleaning this kind of orphan blocks.
[~siyao] [~erose] [~swagle] where we are on recon handling this kind of cleanup?
