Neil Joshi commented on HDDS-8509:
----------------------------------

Hi [~ghuangups] , does this problem exist with the current Master trunk?  My
impression is that all deleted container chunks directories are now moved to a
common tmp directory on the volume before deleted. With that I would expect the
path to the deleted chunk directory to be the tmp dir on the volume.  Curious
that is not.  Why would that be?  See
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDDS-8161 that includes the tmp directory
for container delete.  cc [~erose]

> Some block files were left behind under container chunks dir after deletion

> All keys, buckets and volumes were deleted, essentially no data in Ozone
> namespace. However, some block files were found left behind on some DNs for a
> closed container.
