Thanks @errose28, @symious for the reviews so far. I fully support further reviewing and improving the contents of this guide (and other pages to be ported). I also have a couple of items in mind for that. However, I suggest making improvements over the original content in follow-up PR(s). Both Confluence Wiki and Git can show history of changes, but we cannot diff between states in CWiki and Git. All content added here will be seen as one initial commit for this page. For the same reason, I don't think we should keep the CWiki page as is (or even improved in the future). Keeping both pages alive will be a pain. Especially if we start making improvements to the website content in follow-up PRs (or even in this PR). I would add a warning at the top of the cwiki page to direct readers to the specific page on the new website. The site may be in progress, but the same is true for cwiki. I don't see any problem exposing the staged website to the audience of the cwiki. Summary of the process I suggest: 1. port contents as is (adapt formatting from cwiki to mdx) 2. edit original page to link to the website 3. improve in follow-up PRs This applies to pages that are 1:1 ported from cwiki or other "remote" source. For pages curated from various sources, we should combine steps 1 and 3, since the content will be new anyway. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
