## Why The structured read-type adapter applies a parent null mask to every nested Struct child, even when the parent has no nulls. A wide projection repeats `is_null` and `if_else` for every child and every Arrow batch. ## Change Skip the mask when `array.null_count == 0`. Keep the existing mask when a parent contains nulls. Add tests for both cases, including a sliced array and a null child under a valid parent. ## Validation - `native_read_test.py`: 60 passed. - In a read-only, fixed 200-child projection with the same native reader and identical locator/value/validity hashes, `read_to_arrow` median fell from 0.170 s to 0.079 s (7 measured runs after 2 warmups).
