Smith-Cruise opened a new pull request, #1217:
URL: https://github.com/apache/paimon-rust/pull/1217

   ### Purpose

   Closes #1216.

   A custom DataFusion-based database already manages its own `SessionContext`,
SQL dispatch, and catalog resolution. Paimon's procedure dispatcher is
currently private, so the host cannot reuse it directly without adopting
Paimon's `SQLContext` or copying the procedure implementation.

   Expose `paimon_datafusion::execute_procedure` so the host can pass its
session, selected Paimon catalog, catalog name, procedure name, and parsed CALL
arguments. This lets integrations reuse Paimon's existing argument validation
and procedure implementations while retaining their own SQL and catalog
management.

   ### Brief change log

   - Extract argument validation and procedure dispatch into the public
`execute_procedure` function and re-export it from the crate root.
   - Keep procedure-name parsing and catalog lookup in `execute_call`, which
delegates to the new function.
   - Preserve the existing procedure implementations, result schemas, and error
handling.

   ### Tests

   No tests were added. Builds, tests, and lint checks were not run locally;
validation was limited to static diff inspection.

   ### API and Format

   Adds `execute_procedure(ctx, catalog, catalog_name, proc_name, arguments) ->
Result<DataFrame>` as an async public API in `paimon-datafusion`. Existing SQL
CALL behavior and storage formats are unchanged.

   ### Documentation

   No documentation changes in this PR.
