### Purpose
`FileSystemBranchManager` resolves the `main` branch to the table root
directory. Calling `deleteBranch("main")` previously passed the existence check
and recursively deleted that directory, including committed data and manifests.
Reject deletion of `main` before any filesystem deletion. Add regression
coverage for both the public table API and direct branch-manager calls,
verifying that all table files survive and that a freshly opened table can
still read its committed data.
### Tests
The two new regression cases fail against the previous implementation. After
the fix, 13 tests pass with standard checks enabled (without `fast-build`),
including existing branch deletion tests for primary-key and append-only tables.
