Add common SQL compatibility functions: `regexp_extract`, `regexp_extract_all`, `mod`, `date_sub`, `sha2`, and padded `to_base64`, plus `curdate`, `timestamp_millis`, and `to_timestamp_ltz` aliases. Define group-index and no-match behavior, preserve NULLs and numeric remainder semantics, validate date arithmetic overflow, and preserve timestamp epoch units and the session time zone. Document Rust regex syntax and DataFusion timestamp format semantics; not every Spark/Flink overload is in scope. Tests should cover dynamic patterns/groups, invalid expressions, Unicode, empty matches, leap dates, signed remainder, binary/Base64 padding, SHA-2 bit lengths, and multiple session time zones. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
