This is a great discussion for the GeoParquet repo (where more subject experts can weigh in): https://github.com/opengeospatial/geoparquet/issues . In general (with GeoParquet and its evolution here), we are seeking to standardize how existing stakeholders are storing geospatial data in Parquet files. In the absence of real-world examples where this is happening already, I would suggest that `Permutation` be a future consideration where desired by stakeholders (but the GeoParquet repo is the right place for the discussion!) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
