It seems that the maven commands in execute_query.sh generate excess output on
STDOUT which BackwardCompatibilityIT doesn't read, and the output buffer fills
up, halting everything.
The problem would also happen on master, if there there was an upgrade scenario
to test, so the fix will have to be applied there as well.
