Well I think Allen Bradley is next to Schneider Electric, one of the driving
forces behind EtherNet/IP ... so I guess this is one of the protocols these
PLCs use natively.
If you now connect to the EtherNe/IP port and get EtherNet/IP packets. I would
think you should also use the EtherNet/IP Protocol.
If that device supports AB-ETH, then it must be on a different port.
If Modbus is enough for you, almost every PLC supports that ...
