Well, I get it. And During my usage, 12 Siemens PLCs with a total of over 40,000 points are being read continuously (8 units of S-200, 2 units of S-1200, and 2 units of S-1500). The environment is: Debian Linux 12 with a 24-core CPU, using Zulu JDK 11 and G1GC, the JVM heap memory is allocated 6GB. Use LAN and RTT less than 5ms Then GC reaches 20 times per second, and the CPU usage ranges from 700% to 1000%. For the S-1500 with 15,000 points, it takes 4 to 5 seconds to complete one polling cycle. This may not be feasible for use in edge gateways. > Well performance can't be that poor as the benchmarks I saw show us we don't have to fear competition. Please give me an example of "invalid objects". > > Which other model would you reccomend? I mean PLC4X has the "X" and not the "J" because we want to be multi-language and hand implementing things and maintaining them over time would be a huge burden. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
