In the longer run, I'd prefer to reduce (and eventually remove) the use of `CallContext` and rely on CDI concepts instead, I believe what `CallContext` does is supported by CDI in native ways. In the short term, I'll try and take a stab at this PR trying to solve the config access sub-cases in a CDI-native way.
