I'm curious; like what?
bq. It's tempting to release 9.0 without HDFS and tell those who depend on it
to stay on 8.11 until HDFS is available as a package for 9.x. Thoughts?
If what we want most simply won't be ready for 9.0 (_sigh_), then I think we
can wait till a minor release. At any juncture, we can _move_ functionality to
a module.
