I am away this week and with limited access to the internet. I'm not sure why
palantir's plugin does not work with test fixtures but I would strongly
recommend not using test fixtures at all - make reusable test fixtures a
regular project and consume it as a test dependency. Test fixtures are nice but
they will create more headaches if you want to move to modules, etc. - this is
what happened in Lucene already with spatial.
