In terms of the dependencies and thus how a user might "notice" or not, isn't
this going to be done as we just did solrj-zookeeper? Thus an opt-out
transitive dependency in Solr 9, and opt-in from Solr 10 onwards. Just a
trivial detail in our codebase between the branches in solrj's build.gradle.
Huge +1 from me overall!
