Refactored a bit, removed custom code and used getProcessedFilter. It looks much better now, but still, the getProcessedFilter is done twice. It's probably an acceptable workaround at the moment? I created the tentative branch to show what it would be like when we have access to the internal of the KNN Query (which I still believe to be ideal).
