> So it should be mentioned that this is only really a problem because of
PRS. In order to determine if a collection needs to be managed by the node
itself, we have to load the collection and check if it is PRS enabled.
If we agree to get Solr 10 to be PRS-only, this becomes a non-issue.
Handling a matrix of possible modes/features in Solr is a burden for us; we
need to see things through; be bold if necessary. Distributed-mode -- same
thing. Death to the Overseer!
