`ClientFactory.create()` dropped `timeout`, so `--client-options=timeout:N` had no effect and every data operation ran on the 30s library default — long enough for batched indexing, far too short for `optimize` on a large index. Forwards the value, defaults to `DEFAULT_CLIENT_TIMEOUT = 30` when unset, and warns and falls back rather than failing on a value that will not parse.
