Nicholas Chammas commented on SPARK-3044:
-----------------------------------------
Hehe, I believe many people migrated over to [Feedly|http://www.feedly.com]
when Google shut Reader down.
In any case, having an RSS feed is, to my knowledge, the only convenient way to
keep abreast of new content posted to websites. In this case, it's new Spark
announcements about releases and the like. Otherwise, you'd have to keep
checking the website or the mailing list. In the case of 1.0.2, there was no
mailing list announcement, so checking the website would've been the only way.

> Project updates are often posted here: http://spark.apache.org/news/
> Currently, there is no way to subscribe to a feed of these updates. It would
> be nice there was a way people could be notified of new posts there without
> having to check manually.
