I discovered why sources and javadocs are not deployed.
The configuration of "source" and "javadoc" plugin for creating JAR files is
under the "alljars" profile.
In the document:
http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/WW/Creating+and+Signing+a+Distribution
that describes the release process, the "alljars" profile was not activated,
and then.
So I simply fixed the document, et voilà! sources and javadocs are deployed :-)
This was an easy one :-D
