S. Grünewald commented on WW-2814:
----------------------------------
Gabriel Belingueres told me, that I can access id with ${action.id} because it
is shadowed by the form's id variable, wich I don't use. But suprisingly it has
no value while name, which is also a attribute of the form tag, which I also
don't use, can be read...
So my problem seams to be solved but perhaps it should be investigated further
because of the "name" inconsistency.

>
> You can't access a property "id" in a new/modified template (e.g. form.ftl)
> via ${id} or ${Request.id} or ${Request['id']}.
> You can access other properties e.g. ${name} and even id but only if you use
> an other getter e.g.
> int getMyId(){
> return getId();
> }
> then ${myId} works.
