--- Comment #3 from [email protected] 2011-03-02 08:48:46 --- (In reply to comment #1) Hi, > Cannot confirm the problem. Looks exactly as in Word 2007 with OOo 3.3 on > WinXP > and Win7. I tried on WinVista and WinXp (both support Simpified Chinese) with OOo 3.3, the problem is indeed, please see the snapshot newly attached (using OOo3.3 and Word2003). > What is displayed incorrectly on your OOo? Maybe the "Symbol" font (used by MS > for their Formula objects) is not available on your system? Now that Word can display it, I suppose the "Symbol" font is not missing, maybe OOo dose not choose the proper font to use. I also googled for the symptom. Then I noticed those formulas in the 'sample.doc' are not typed in with Word's built-in formula tool, but through an external tool(maybe it's Mathtype, https://bugs.launchpad.net/openoffice/+bug/256876). However, if this is the problem, I can not decide which tool to use, since I am not the author of the document. I just want to know how come your systems can display it correctly. Do you have any special configuration? What's your locale? Or maybe you just have Word2007 installed? -.- -- Configure bugmail: http://openoffice.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Bugzilla.
