I have this strange problem, which very well might be due to
preferences/installation but I have tried about everything that I can think off
without any results.
The problem is the following. I am used to write in three different languages
(frensh, english and german), thus I have installed language packs for spelling
for these three. However I mostly write in french and therefore the interface
is french and the standard language is also french. So if I create a new
document, before typing anything, the language shown in the status line on the
bottom is french. The moment I start typing, the language turns into german.
I have looked at the "standard" style, which is the style with which a new
document comes up and it is clearly defined as "frensh" (checked by opening the
styles window and then rightlicking the style, using "modify". In the upcoming
paragraphe style window the language of the font is French.
I have then tried to change the language for the selection / paragraph / whole
text into french, which is does. But I can start typeing anywhere I like, the
newly typed text will be in german.
I would really really appreciate if anybody has any idea how I can get rid of
this very annoying problem.
I am using in the moment OO 3.3.0 on a windows 7 system
