--- Comment #2 from [email protected] 2011-05-30 10:49:47 --- It happened when after a restart/unexpected shutdown, OO started restoring the previous documents. On more than one occasion, it somehow did it either twice, or on a case when the documents were already open. In such an occasion it had two exemplars of one document open, (but somehow was not aware of it). So eventually after having saved a completed document, i closed it, and when later i found an exemplar open; i unknowingly clicked save and replaced the new and finished version with almost an empty file. I could not restore the data, and I'm not sure if backups even help with such a case of overwriting. Hope this might help improve the program, and best of luck.
